How can i change the subnet mask only?

Hi, i want to change only the subnet mask of my server ip range (from /29 to /28). Can i just change it in the operating system, or is there any cpanel setting that i should change too? best,

  Hey there! cPanel reads the network configuration from the operating system itself, so if you update things there you'll be all set!

  Hi, just a followup, i've noticed that i should also change /etc/ips file, for the extra ips that added via whm. best,
