Help. Non IT bod thrown under the bus
Hi
1st post and I haven't a clue where I should post it.
My company, main manufacturermotorcycle dealership, has a website. The website is built by a company for the manufacturer but will be changing over to another supplier.
The current web host was set up by my IT guy who no longer works for me. He arranged the set up & nobody else has the information.
I need to transfer the forwarding from the current address to the new one.
I have no details for the current site. I have enquired on icann and it comes up with this:
"No registry RDAP server was identified for this domain. Attempting lookup using WHOIS service.
Failed to perform lookup using WHOIS service: TLD_NOT_SUPPORTED."
What's the best route for me to find out who I need to contact to get the info I need?

Hey there! The easiest way to track down who the hosting provider is is to perform a Whois looking directly on the domain name. This is easy to do from a Mac/Linux system directly in the terminal, but can be tricky to get the details you need from online whois tools, as most aren't designed for that. If you can't get that from your end, send me a private message with your domain name and I can get you the details you'll need :D 0 -
Ah - you don't have enough posts to see that feature yet. I'll send you one :D 0
