PHP-FPM

If you have a newer cPanel installation, PHP-FPM is likely enabled by default anyway. You can confirm this in the WHM >> MultiPHP Manager tool in WHM, where you'll see a section similar to this: 0 -

In WHM is is Not enabled. Should it be? And this server is just a few weeks old.0 -
You may get slightly better performance if it's enabled - much like the http2 option, you can toggle that on and off to see if you notice a difference. 0 -

Should I do this before, or after, changing the handlers?0 -
For this one it doesn't matter. You can set it now, and it works fine with suPHP if you haven't made that switch just yet. 0 -

Ok thanks. I'm gonna do that now. Stand by for results... :P0 -
@cPRex So I installed PHP-FPF for 7.4 and 8.0. The default is 7.4. When I click the dropdown for the PHP Handler, all I see is cgi still. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Is that all I needed to do at this step? Now it's time to install the handers? Signed, Still waking up here! 0 -
Additional handlers would need to be installed through the EasyApache tool before they'll show up in the dropdown. You can do that by customizing your EasyApache profile in WHM >> EasyApache 4, clicking the "Customize" button, and then you'll find the handlers under the "Apache Modules" section, like the image below: 0 -
10-4. Coffee is kicking in. Moving on to mod_suphp... Thanks for your help. 0 -
