Files are uploaded in wrong map

Hi, We use textpattern for our scouts website. when we upload a file (pdf, ....) it is put in cPanel in the folder "Files" under "Textpattern". When this happens, the file cannot be made visible on our site. The temporary solution I have now found is to manually move the files from the "Files" folder in the "Textpattern" folder to the "Files" folder in the "Pubilic_HTML" folder. I wondered what could be the cause of this and whether there is a permanent solution for it.

  Hey there! Can you let me know what tool you are using to upload the file? If this is happening through some automated software, that software itself would need to be adjusted to change where it places the file.

  to upload files we use textpattern, the tool is built into it, no idea if it is a specific tool.

  Thanks for the additional details. This sounds like a setting that would be controlled inside Textpattern then, and not something you can adjust in cPanel as the cPanel software isn't involved with this upload.
