Create subdomains to use for cpanel and whm
Hi all,
I need your help. I want to create a subdomain for cpanel and whm, example:
cpanel.mydomain.com
whm.mydomain.com
When I created these subdomains and when I enter them in the url following by:
cpanel.mydomain.com:2083
whm.mydomain.com:2087
it will redirect me to server.mydomain.com:2083 and server.mydomain.com:2087.
How I can avoid the redirect when I want to use cpanel.mydomain.com:2083 for cpanel and whm.mydomain.com:2087 for whm?
Thank you.

Hey there! This redirection can be controlled in WHM >> Tweak Settings >> Redirection. You'll see the option to keep the original domain name in the request on that page, so can you try adjusting that and see if that gets things working how you expect? You'll likely need to clear your browser's cache/history in order to ensure you are getting the latest data from the system. 0 -

Thank you. I just found out that I need to enable servicesubdomains so I have got it working now. But there is a problem. The SSL certificate is not valid and is not match so how I can fix it??0 -
The SSL won't be created instantly when those domains are, as it does take a bit for the additional domains to get validated. The fastest way to get that working is to visit WHM >> Manage AutoSSL and click the "Run AutoSSL for all users" button, as that will try and add coverage for any domains that do not currently have a certificate. 0 -

Thank you, when I run AutoSSL I can see that it have created the certificate for cpanel.mydomain.com but it wont create the certificate for whm.mydomain.com as it is not on the list when I run AutoSSL, so I have deleted the certificate for my domain from Manage SSL Hosts and I run AutoSSL again but it is still the same. How I can add whm.mydomain.com on AutoSSL to create the certificate??0 -
Any idea??????????? 0 -
If you check the DNS zone do you see an A record for "whm" present there? If that isn't listed there, the AutoSSL tools would not try to cover that subdomain. 0
