    Hey there! I'm sorry to hear about this issue. I wouldn't suspect malware would make this type of change, but it could be caused by permission issues for the user itself. I would recommend checking the permissions for the user at cPanel >> MySQL Databases >> Current Databases >> select the user you want to modify associated with the database you want to modify, and making sure the user has the "create view" privilege there. Can you check that?

    That does seem correct. If you have root access to the system, can you submit a ticket so we can check the machine? If you don't have root access, you'll need to work with the hosting provider to determine what changed on the server as you wouldn't have the level of access necessary to check the logs on the system.
