DNS Zone Record type A
Hi All, I'm new to this whole forum so please forgive me if this is not in the right category.
I was trying to connect my WordPress site to Mailchimp (Big Mistake) and I was following the instruction to edit the DNS Record type A.
I changed it to the new IP address and later discovered this is not something I need to do.
I now unfortunately cannot remember the original IP Address it was before I changed it and I foolishly did not write it down.
So the Main Domain is down, however, the subdomain is up.
Can anyone help me here? OR do I just open a ticket !!
If you can let me know what information you need to resolve
Sincerely, Newbie.

Hey there! The easiest thing to do would be to ping the subdomain from your local system. Just enter "ping sub.yourdomain.com" on the command line and the IP address that is returned will be your IP. There are also browser plugins or online DNS tools that you can use the check the IP address of your domain. Switch the main A record back to that and you should be all set. 0 -
