Need help in integrating arc.io in cPanel
-
Hey there! If you have already uploaded the content for the subdomain, you would upload that file to the same location. It would be easiest to use the File Manager through cPanel to perform that work, but it would just be a matter of placing the file in the correct directory. If you have a subdomain for this arc.io tool, this would likely be placed in /home/username/public_html/subdomain name, as that is the standard location for a subdomain directory to be created on a cPanel server. If that doesn't answer the question, feel free to post a screenshot of your directory structure, just remove any public domains for your security. 0 -
HI @cPRex Seems like you didnt understand me well, I wanna add a javascript file to the cPanel root. I mean, The js file should be accessible like this, cpanel.mydomain.name/arc-sw.js mydomain.name:2082/arc-sw.js mydomain.name2083/arc-sw.js 0 -
Thanks for the clarification on that. I don't think you'll be able to do that, although you may be able to add the tool to the inside of the cPanel interface so users can see it after they log in. Is that what you are looking for? 0 -
Well, I was able to achieve that. So there is no way to add the java script file to cPanel directory? I do have root access, so that shouldn't be an issue. 0 -
There isn't a way to serve additional content from the cPanel directory. If you have a plugin to add to the interface that can be done, but you won't be able to alter or add content to the cPanel area of the system. 0 -
When I visit that link I still get asked to log in to the cPanel interface, but you'd need to contact that provider to see how they implemented that custom solution. 0 -
When I go in there and login, I see this.(which I correct) I asked a Root Admin of HelioHost and his response was to add the file in /var/www/html and it will work. As he was able to achieve it, atleast one person of cPanel Team would have known this 0 -
I have confirmed on my end that you can't place files in /var/www/html and have them be read in domain.com:2083, so there must be more to their solution. 0
