Installing Wordpress on Add-on domain with Toolkit
Howdy,
I am trying to install Wordpress on a fresh account to an add-on domain.
In CPanel, I go to Wordpress Toolkit > Install WordPress (blue button)
In the installation path, the add-on domain is not available, only the subdomain that cpanel created for the add-on.
So, for example, the main account domain is mainaccount.com.
The add-on domain is addondomain.com
Cpanel created the subdomain "addondomain.mainaccount.com"
So in this example, I should be offered to install on "addondomain.com" but only "mainaccount.com" and "addondomain.mainaccount.com" are in the pull-down menu.
Am I supposed to just install onto the subdomain?
Thanks!

Hey there! That's correct - you'll just pick the subdomain associated with the addon domain at this time. We're working on getting this to show the addon domain, but that hasn't been resolved just yet. 0 -
Great! So when I install on the subdomain, the WordPress installation will be installed on and resolving to the addon domain? Or will I need to update the WordPress Address (URL) to the addon domain within the WordPress admin area in Settings > General Settings? 0 -
The installation will take care of everything and install on the correct domain. It's just the Toolkit interface can't properly detect the addon domain in that dropdown list. If that doesn't work how you expect just let me know, but when I tested on my end just now it installed how I anticipated. 0 -
Rockin! Thanks so much. 0 -

@kgs - can you check this again now and see if you can still reproduce this? 0 -
I see the add-on domain now! Thank you! 0 -
