Hey there! It looks like this specific message is being blocked by the mail provider based on content. Is there anything specific to the content of that message that could be considered spam? It seems the issue is specifically with the destination you are trying to send to as they mention their is a method to contact their support, so reaching out to them may also be a good plan of action.

I would agree on that, if it was an specific domain sending us mails, or we replying to an specific domain, but thats not the case, because, i have around 20 diferent domains rejecting our mails with the same message. And as I said, if we write a new mail, to all the recipients again instead of replying, it goes out to destination without any problem, even if we attach files, issue is just on the replies, Im getting crazy about this, I cant find any particular reason, we even copied the same subject, and created a new mail with the same subject, and recipients, and it goes fine, everyone receives it.

Thanks for the additional details. We would likely need access to the server experiencing this issue in order to get you more details, but I see your profile indicates you are the site owner and not the root admin of the system. If you do not have root access to the server, can you speak with your host to have them check the security of your account and mail system?

Sure i can get you an access, the root admin is a friend of mine, so i can give you guys an access to it without any problem

Great! If you could get a ticket submitted to our team, and then post the ticket number here, I can follow along and make sure this thread gets updated as well.

@Openair geomatics - is your error the same as the original poster's? If so, I'd recommend working through our checklist for emails that are ending up in the spam folder:

Is that bounce message being sent from the cPanel side of things or from Gmail?

@jrazpurua - that error looks different than the ones that have been previously mentioned, as that shows your email address has been blocked by that recipient. You'll want to make sure your machine isn't sending spam using the details here:

Hi CPRex, Do you have any recommendation for my last attached message ?

  • cPRex Jurassic Moderator
@Rami Mansour - in the message you show, Google thinks your email contains a virus. I'd recommend scanning your server to make sure things are working well and that there are no issues, and you if you don't find anything there you may need to contact Gmail directly using the details they provided in the bounceback to see exactly what they are finding.

For that specific error, it sounds like you are being blocked at that remote mailserver. If you have an alternate way to contact them I would recommend doing that and showing them that error message.

Hello! I am having this issue as mentioned above as well. I have done trouble shooting to narrow down what is happening to try and understand why. If I send a new email with no attachments it works fine. If I send a new email with an attachment it works fine. When I receive responses from both of those emails in my inbox (with or without an attachment) and respond to them I immediately get a bounce back email that looks like this when I send an attachment in the response email: This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. @z3thon - the best thing to do in this case may be to reach out to Gmail support, as they would be the ones to confirm why the message was blocked. There isn't going to be a way to see why that is happening from the cPanel side of things.

This response is coming to me regardless of what email it's being sent to. It's also instantaneous and it only started happening after I made some mistakes with my DNS records. I put all my DNS records back the way I found them, but I started having these issues within a few hours of inadvertently messing up my DNS records. I just submitted my own post in the forum as well to show all my DNS record settings that point to my cPanel to see if I've missed anything. Is this still a separate issue than the one you said you resolved in Discord?

Yes! I'm posting my solution to this issue here since nobody else posted what their solutions were. My 552 bounce backs were all coming from the SMTP server itself (so the server that is sending the emails). I called my email provider (GoDaddy) and there were a lot of hoops to jump through and they wanted to make sure the DNS servers were perfect before taking a further look at the bounce back email. In the end GoDaddy's SMTP servers have a ML software in place that intuitively chooses things to flag as spam or viruses. The ML software had unfortunately flagged our domain name as malicious content whenever it is included in the body of the message. So anytime our employees responded to a thread and the domain name was in the body of the thread they would get the bounce back. After GoDaddy removed that flag in their system all of our emails went back to normal. So if you're getting a 522 and it's the SMTP server sending the bounce back, check your SMTP's spam filters. Have a wonderful day!

Had this same problem. The issue got mysteriously fixed less than 48 hours after I reported it to

    https://checkspam.godaddy.com/

P.S. But the ultimate solution to all of Godaddy issues is to DUMP them. I am in the process of doing just that.

Indeed.  Most of the reports in this thread (including the OP) relate to GoDaddy blocking outbound email via cPanel due to spurious rules they have set up.  E.g., they don't allow `.eml` attachents, making it impossible to actually report spam.

"Please include this entire message when contacting support" is a generic message from cPanel.  It does not indicate that any support would actually be available.  In fact, it won't be, since GoDaddy no longer 'support' cPanel email.  They prefer to sell you an overpriced Microsoft offering instead.

Virus and spam checking should always be on the inbound.  GoDaddy have had issues with bad actors abusing their services, due to lack of due diligence on their part, so are now using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.
