Translating custom cPanel plugin

Good morning, I'm looking to make my own custom cPanel plugin available in multiple languages. I've seen that cPanel already have a locale/language selection system. So: 1. How to get the current running language in my PHP plugin? 2. How to translate icon name (in the install.json generated through WHM)? Thanks in advance.

  Hey there! I don't have anything specific right now for this but I've reached out to our developers to see if there are any automated tools in place that might help with this. I'll be sure to update this page as soon as I have more details.

  I spoke with some of the developers on this and there isn't an automated way to perform the translation that they are aware of, so I don't have any additional advice from the cPanel side of things at this time.
