The Conection has timed out??
Hello ,
I live in Spain. I have a friend who lives in Romania. I have given him access to a CPANEL account and to a website hosted in CPANEL, but he has access problems.
I have added his IP to the WHM firewall whitelist. Now he can see the website, but it is impossible to access CPANEL or WP-ADMIN of the website (wordpress).
The error is always the same "The Connection has timed out".
I don't know what to do anymore, does anyone know what could be the problem?

Have you checked by disabling the Firewall temporarily? 0 -
Have you checked by disabling the Firewall temporarily?
Not really. On the same VPS with WHM, I have 5 more websites. Some of them very important and with traffic, so I would not like to leave them unprotected.0 -
I understand your concern so I said to disable it temporarily. After disabling it temporary your friend can access the cpanel and wp-admin then firewall rules must be checked. You can immediately enable the firewall after this testing is done. 0 -
Disabling the firewall while that user performs the test would only take a few seconds if you coordinate this work together, and that would be the easiest thing to test. You could also have that user try and connect to the different ports on the system using telnet from their local machine, as that could determine a network issue on their end. You may also want to check the cPHulk tool on the machine since the access seems to be limited to certain services for that user. 0
