How to host email on one server and web site on another

Hello, I have a client that I currently host on my cPanel server. They want a new site built on Laravel so I would like to have that on another server but I want to keep managing email on the cpanel server. I am not sure how to set this up in the zone. I am attaching the zone file? Is it as simple as changing the A record ip to the new address and then change the MX record to the server name it is currently on? Sorry, I am having a hard time with this. Any help would be appreciated.

  Hey there! That's correct - it really is that simple :D Currently it looks like the MX record just points to the domain, so you'll likely want to change two things to get this working: -change the mail CNAME to an A record using the IP of your cPanel server -change the MX record to mail.domain.com But yes, it really should be that easy. As long as the website tools are set up where you point the A record for the site, it will respond, and the mail will continue to come into the cPanel box.
