Hey there! An issue with a PHP extension wouldn't be related to the WordPress Toolkit software on the system, and is something I would expect the hosting provider to be able to help with. Do you know what version of PHP that site was designed to work with? Since you don't have root access to the machine you may not be able to check all the necessary logs, but the hosting provider would be able to see all the errors and help get that working.

Hi cPRex, thanks for your reply I am using the latest version of Wordpress and it was installed by the toolkit. I have spoken to my host twice about it and they have said it is a known issue with the toolkit but I might try again. I played around with it last night and the clone appears to go fine and the files and database are copied. It seems to fail when updating the siteurl and home url in the options table. If I update those manually it all works.

I can confirm it's not an issue with the WordPress Toolkit software on our end as that just doesn't have the power to change how the PHP software is configured. It seems like there is an issue with the PHP environment on that system. If you had root access to the machine I'd offer to take a look on our end, but with only cPanel access you'd have to work with the host to get that resolved. They are also welcome to contact us too if they can not find a resolution.
