Hey there! Depending on how the final secondary sync happened, there could be permission or ownership issues on the mailbox or mail files causing this issue. Do you see any odd permissions in /home/username/mail that could explain this?

Thanks for your reply. Permissions seem ok. Actually I think it's something to do with squiirel mail plugins missing as I found this:- [11-Feb-2021 13:47:46 -0600]: PHP Error: Failed to load plugin file /usr/local/cpanel/base/3rdparty/roundcube/plugins/cpanel_squirrelmail_contact_import/cpanel_squirrelmail_contact_import.php in /usr/local/cpanel/base/3rdparty/roundcube/program/lib/Roundcube/rcube_plugin_api.php on line 181 (GET /cpsess7149237067/3rdparty/roundcube/index.php?_task=mail&_action=list&_sort=subject_ASC&_mbox=INBOX&_remote=1&_unlock=loading1613072866392&_=1613072790799) Which is a bit weird, as I thought squirrel mail was obsolete ? ( and the user doesn't have a squirrel mail contacts book )

Squirrelmail hasn't been included with the product for some time, but that doesn't mean something related to it may have been accidentally synced from the Source machine. For this issue it may be best to wait to hear from Hostgator since they would know exactly what commands were used to sync the data.
