old cPanel edit SPF record
Hi for our email we're using and old cPanel version, 56 and we'd like to change something in our raw SPF record ?all should become ~all, do you know how we can change this? Updating to a new version is not possible i'm afraid.
Thanks in advance!

Hey there! You can make this change through WHM in the Edit DNS Zone page as that will allow you to change the DNS records for all the domains on the server. You can find more details on that tool here: Edit DNS Zone | cPanel & WHM Documentation 0 -
Thanks for your reply, we only have acces to the cPanel and not the WHM though, is there some way to do it from cpanel? 0 -
@mrlenn123 - it would depend on what access your hosting provider has given you. Normally you would be able to edit the records through cPanel. if you don't see the Edit DNS Zone option in cPanel, or if they haven't allowed access to the additional records, you'd need to contact your host to have them do that for you. I would strongly recommend a move to a more modern system. Version 56 has been end-of-life since October 2017, and any system still running that would have known security issues. 0
