My daily saga with backup pruning errors

Every single day every single one of my WHM server gives backup pruning errors. I have incremental backups configured with SSH. Unable to prune transport "Backup Transport at DC XYZ" Error pruning "backup/us-server-xyz/2021-01-31" from "Backup Transport at DC XYZ": ssh slave failed: timed out To the uninitiated I have already read the notice in the email multiple times

  First are you doing a full backup daily.. If so how long are you retaining the old version of backups. setup . Cronjob for this task. keep 3 copies of your backup Monday, Tues, Wens for example ... Do Thus would have Delete Monday (Tues, Wens, Thurs)... ect. Google cronjobs --- Peace!!

  Hi! As written in the docs, the error comes when the pruning process is timing out (5 minutes). I would look at network issues, backup server/storage performance and permissions on the backup server. Are there any errors in the logs on the backup server?

  What do you see inside /usr/local/cpanel/logs/cpbackup_transporter around the time of the email notifications?
