Site alternating between another site and Wordpress site

Someone created the website with this very cpanel and I only took over a few days ago creating the same website with WordPress It happens that at certain times that the previously created website is what shows up and other times the WordPress site I'm creating now is what shows up when you open the Web URL. I need help urgently, please

  Hi @renegateprince, Did you make any DNS changes? If you did, the DNS might still be propagating. If it isn't, it might be a caching issue. Be sure to clear your browser cache.

  Is it possible there is both the index.php (WordPress) and an index.html file in the public_html for the domain? That would cause a different site to load depending on which URL is chosen, although that would not be an error on the server.
