AutoSSL on addon domains, can I pick the "main" domain?

I've read all the related AutoSSL threads I could find but didn't find a fix for this. When an account has addon domains, AutoSSL generates a cert that includes all the domains in the account. This sometimes has customers worried, because they check the certificate and they see another website's name listed on it, plus a list of sites that share the account. I understand there's no workaround for that, except moving every domain to its own account. Is that still correct? Now, this problem could be partially mitigated if we could choose the "main" domain that is displayed when checking the cert. As far as I can see, it's simply picked up at random. Is there a way to influence this? It would be ideal if cPanel picked the main domain in the account as the one to be displayed.

    When you say " customer check the certificate and they see another website's name listed on it ", May I know where your customer is checking this information? By SSL checker third-party website or by clicking the padlock in the browser or in some logs?

    What you're seeing is the standard behavior for any certificate, not just through AutoSSL. If you have multiple domains secured using one certificate, they will all show up when the domain is examined.

    On any web browser, by examining the cert. Yes, clicking the padlock.

    What you're seeing is the standard behavior for any certificate, not just through AutoSSL. If you have multiple domains secured using one certificate, they will all show up when the domain is examined.

    I know. My question is very specific. How can I influence which domain is listed as the "main" domain in the cert?

    Currently there isn't a way to do that. I did look through our feature requests and didn't find one for this, so you may want to submit a new feature request.

    Thanks. I"m more interested in finding out how does the Autossl process pick the main domain. Maybe that will allow me to find a workaround. It doesn"t seem to follow a chronological order, not alphabetical. Surely it can"t be random?

    I believe it follows the order the domains are created in the Apache configuration.
