User not found if "Remote Mail Exchanger" is set on???
When I set my a domain to "Local Mail Exchanger" for email routing I can (manually) send mail to the user fine. I can telnet to port 25 of the host and it will deliver messages. All good. Now when I set the domain to "Remove Mail Exchange" it will not do this anymore. Why? How do I still allow it to accept mail if the user does exist? It says user not found when the user is there and fine.

Hey there! That's the intended behavior for this feature - if the "Remote Mail Exchange" option is chosen the server will not deliver messages locally and will look to the DNS records for the correct delivery path. Are you expecting something different to happen with this behavior? 0 -
I guess its right. I mean other servers will accept the message if the account exists still even if its not the proper MX server. Its not correct or incorrect behaviour. 0
