Trying to Transfer a Domain but IP is Dedicated to another account

Hi, I'm trying to transfer a domain from site 1 to site 2 that uses a shared IP that it can't keep (it should take a new IP from site 2). Every time in site 2 it chooses a random IP, I'm guessing, because the IP at site 2 has it 'Dedicated' to another account. There are no resellers, I just need to change wherever the existing account stores it to 'Shared'. If I look at /etc/domainips it has '123.123.123.123: domain.com' and I remove it, it says '(main shared IP) (Shared by...)' but if I save it it just puts that '123.123.123.123: domain.com' line straight back again. Is there some extra step I'm missing? thanks, Alex

  Hey there! Can you get me more details on the work you're trying to do when you say "transfer a domain from site 1 to site 2"? I'm not entirely sure what that means, so if we can clear that up I will be able to get you more details.

  I think it's worked now. I created an account on site 2, it let me add the IP to that account and now when I transfer an account it lets me add it!
