Hey there! Although we get similar questions frequently, there just isn't a great answer that we can provide. It mostly depends how much traffic the sites get and what kind of content is being served. We've all likely seen one very busy site take down a server that didn't have limits like what CloudLinux provides, and we've likely seen basic shared servers with plain HTML easily handle 1000 low traffic sites. The best thing I can recommend is to get a cloud server from a provider that offers easy hardware scaling. Once everything is up and running you'll be able to see if you need more CPU or RAM on the system.

Thank you for your answer, @Bidi ! Tell me: Are you using CentOS 7 or CloudLinux? You mean 12 vCPU (VPS) or bare metal? What CPU type? Best regards, ML

CloudLinux, Intel x5650 12 cores, 24vcpu (threads) But you can go with a VPS if the cpu is good not like 1.8ghz (usual cheap vps), we have customer with 200-250 websites on one of ower virtualized dedicated server with 2 x e5-2690 v3 cpu..... He have 14vCPU and 32GB Ram and works perfect, we ar flexible, we customize as he needs. If you go with an dedicated server with rubish CPU or VPS With Rubish CPU its not a solution, usualy the "big hosters" with a verry cheap vps or dedicated servers is because they use rubish cpus, like 1.8ghz witch is rubish, and they dont show on theyr websites what cpu they use, the customers sees, ooo is cheap after 1 week he realise is rubish. I hope i`m not geting kicked for my mentions :) If you`r looking for dedicated server or vps, i can provide you at a good price with location in RO.

i am hosting 300 accounts with 50% of them wordpress and 8CPU is enough but like CPREX said that its all about how much traffic and request you will get if i was you i would do this before migration : 1. get the sites on cloudflare and google analytics - analyse the traffic and total request and then come here and share the stats and then we could help you

Hey guys If you allow to ask here under someone's else post......can you recommend hardware for about max 200 cPanel accounts hosted on Cloudlinux and Litespeed Web Host Essential. Actually I have this hardware offered : 1 x Intel CPU E5 - 8 Core (16 threads) with 64 GB RAM. 70% od sites are Wordpress. Is this hardware enough for speed website delivery ?
