Blank Message cPanel Notifications
-
I have previously been informed that all the notifications should be saved on the server in this folder: /var/cpanel/user_notifications/root/history/ I did find the cpanel-ccs failure messages, but I did not find the autossl expiry message when I cat command to examine the cpanel-ccs message, I do see an email body, html format with UTF-8 encoding. So I am now utterly confused about 2 things? 1.) Where are the autossl expiry messages that should be in the directory? And, 2.) could the missing message body in the autossl expiry and cpanel-ccs notifications be somehow caused by an html error? I have attached the cpanel-ccs email to post (edited for private info) # cat 1615457754_chkservd___\[host2.someothername.com\]\ FAILED\ ?\:\ cpanel-ccs\ \(74.842.289.666\).eml Date: Thu, 11 Mar 2021 10:15:54 GMT From: "cPanel Monitoring" Message-Id: <1615457754.8TiFRjJr1WSueTgk@host2.someothername.com> Subject: =?UTF-8?B?W2hvc3QyLmhlcm9jbG91ZGhvc3RpbmcuY29tXSBGQUlMRUQg4puU?= =?UTF-8?B?OiBjcGFuZWwtY2NzICg0Ny4yNDIuMTY2LjE3Nik=?= To: somethingelse@163.com X-iContact_locale: en Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="alternative-Cpanel::Email::Object-13359-1615457754-0.72962299389291" --alternative-Cpanel::Email::Object-13359-1615457754-0.72962299389291 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable The service =E2=80=9Ccpanel-ccs=E2=80=9D appears to be down. I checked the notification history directory and found this on my personal machine for the SSL notifications: 1 service generated warnings while checking SSL certificates
Do you see anything similar to that there? I don't think there would be an HTML error in the notification itself, or else we'd see many complaints each day from users receiving those notifications.0 -
There is literally nothing about ssl in /var/cpanel/user_notifications/root/history/ And if UTF-8 and the html are both correct, then why is the message body not showing on two specific types of notifications cpanel-ccs errors and ssl expiry 0 -
Could you submit a support ticket to our team so we could check this behavior? 0
