DNS Configuration for mail

Hi everyone, I could log in and use webmail through my Cloud VPS's IP address but could not access via mail.domain.com. Is this due to the wrong DNS configuration for the domain? Thank you very much.

  One of the reasons could be missing cname entry for the "mail" in your DNS record. Please check if you have cname entry for the "mail" in your DNS record for our domain: ============== mail | cname | domain.com ==============

  The "mail" record missing is the most likely explanation - let us know if that doesn't fix things!
