    If you have cPhulk enabled then try after temporary disabling it or whitelist your machine IP in cPhulk with the below commands: /scripts/cphulkdwhitelist 1.3X.X5.7X

    This is normal behavior as root would not be able access the individual cPanel user account. If you want to access all cPanel accounts on the system it is best to do that fro the WHM >> List Accounts page.
