  install ClamAV install CSF select LAST version of PHP (8 or minimal 7.4) choose PHP fpm-fcgi EVER use PASS-Phrase (no't only PASS-word) have care with what you install in your host, (many persons used ANY script from ANY places...) config/program any web to load over https have many care, many, many care with plugins WordPress

  The things that @000 mentioned are all great ideas. Your profile indicates you only have user-level access to the machine, so you may want to speak with your hosting provider or datacenter to see what security tools they have in place on their end.
