Incoming emails stay in queue
Hi,
Starting some days ago, after an update, incoming emails stay in queue.
When I go to WHM and try to deliver all emails, I get these errors:
LOG: MAIN
cwd=/usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot 3 args: /usr/sbin/exim -qff -v
LOG: queue_run MAIN
Start queue run: pid=19731 -qff
delivering 1lWbHr-0004j9-Mk (queue run pid 19731)
LOG: skip_delivery MAIN
[...]
Spool file for 1lWbCv-0004b1-T8 is locked (another process is handling this message)
LOG: queue_run MAIN
End queue run: pid=19731 -qff
If I run these 2 commands, the emails get delivered.
/scripts/buildeximconf
/scripts/restartsrv_exim
But afterwards the same situation starts over.
Can somebody help?

Hey there! I'm wondering if this is related to a case we're already aware of. If you just restart Exim without the rebuild, does that also get things sending? 0 -

Yes, it does. This morning, the same situation happened and I just ran: /scripts/restartsrv_exim and the emails were immediately delivered. Is there a solution? Or must I set a cron job with this command to run periodically? I can understand this temporarily, but not permanently0 -
Is there a solution?
Possibly - is this server running in a VMWare system?0 -

Hmmmm, that may not be the case I was thinking of then. Could you open a ticket with our team so we could investigate this directly on the system? Please post the ticket number here so I can keep this thread updated. 0 -
