Special characters directory issue

I have a cpanel server and when I use special characters in directories, I will not be able to access the files in that directory. Here is an example ( directory name : Boz" ) REDACTED you will see subscribe.png there and it gives not found error after clicking on it. REDACTED I don't have any issue on my directadmin servers. But I faced it on all of my cpanel servers.... Is there any solution? thank you in advance

    Hey there! The most likely explanation is that the files were encoded differently on the Source machine and are being handled differently by CentOS. There are additional details on that here:

    If you create a new file/directory on the cPanel system with a special character, does accessing that work?

    I create a file named testch"racter.txt on my personal website and I was able to load that without an issue. Do you know if there are any customizations to Apache or the server? If not, could you submit a ticket to our team so we can do some additional testing as I would expect this to work by default.

    testch"racter.txt works on my server as well. Can you please create a directory named Boz" and upload a file on it and test if you can access the file?

    I did try that and it works on my side if I create the special character. Can you try creating a directory by copying this character specifically? "

    When I create a directory named " it gives me the same result. It means I can see the directory listing but after clicking on them I see 404 error .

    Does this also happen if you specifically use the " that I copy pasted above? I'm thinking there is an encoding issue happening and would like to rule that out.

    Yes and actually that was just an example. Here is another one " and I have the same issue with it.

    That's strange as I'm not able to reproduce this on my end. Could you submit a ticket to our team so we can check this directly?
