    Hey there! Softaculous isn't something that is included with cPanel by default, but I did check the installation requirements here for you:

    In WHM -> Server Configuration -> Tweak Settings -> PHP -> cPanel PHP loader check "ioncube" and click "Save".

    @quietFinn - those instructions actually will not enable IonCube for PHP on the server. The Tweak Settings option enable IonCube for cPanel's internal PHP, but the customer would need to use EasyApache to get IonCube installed for the PHP software used by the webserver.

    I am aware of that, but Softaculous requires InoCube for cPanel's internal PHP.
