Do I still require ClamAV plugins in WHM/cPanel when I already have it installed it in CentOS7?

Hi All, Can anyone advise if I am posting in the right Forum for ClamAV issue? If not, please advise. I just want to know if I still require ClamAV Plugins install in WHM/cPanel when I already had ClamAV installed in my CentOS 7? Do ClamAV in WHM/cPanel work separately from clamAV in CentOS? Thanks in advance.

  I am newbie in Linux and WHM/cPanel. Appreciate if any gurus or experts can advise. Thanks If possible, can you please direct me to any write up / documentations as I am unable to find any related online for weeks already. Thanking you in advance

  Hey there! You're welcome to install tools outside of cPanel. They will work fine, but they won't integrate with our software. Whether that is desirable or not for your situation is up to you to decide.
