My database suddenly stopped granting user permissions. This error repeats exactly every 6 hours. Hope for help. Thanks

Do you have root access? is there any scripts maybe in crontab which could change/reset the password every 6 hours?

Hello Andrew. How do I know I have root access. Thanks

@NguyenXuanDuc - root access would mean that you have access to not only your cPanel account, but also to the WHM panel for the entire server. If you don't have that level of access, it would be best to speak to your hosting provider about this problem so they can check things on their end.

@cPRex Do you think if I don't have root access someone changed the code in Cpanel that makes this happen? Or is this caused by plugins? Thanks

We think if you don't have root access then you should ask your hosting provider to investigate it for you as you don't have access to the files you might need to check to figure out the reason :)

It is very unlikely there was a cPanel that would cause this type of behavior. It definitely sounds like a problem on the server or a plugin, especially if this is happening at certain intervals. If you contact your host they will be able to check the system and the logs and get you more details on why this may be happening.

cPRex I contacted the server and they said no error was found. I'm suspecting a plugin is causing this situation

Make sure you check crontab under cPanel account to ensure none of your cronjob are causing this.
