I need to delete hostname which i added accidentally

Hello Every one, I setup WHM panel on AWS EC2 instance while ago and i accidentally add following hostname,
hostname.example.com
Now i am unable to send and receive emails. can any body help if i can delete or edit it and the be able to send email from my cpanel accounts? if not how i can send emails through my cpanel accounts?

    Hi, i am able to setup hostname same as my server address, but i am unable to receive email, no error showing it says email send but i did not receive email on my email address. Although i can receive email from same gmail account.

    I tried to send email on same server with different email account and i can receive email quickly but unable to receive email on gmail or other accounts. Is this due to dmarc record?

    I don't believe the hostname is related to the email issue if you were able to change that. Do you receive any type of bounceback or is the message just not delivered at all?

    Alright - that's good information to have. The next thing to check is the outbound message log on the server. If you check /var/log/exim_mainlog, you'll see the message leave the server and get sent to the remote mailserver. If that action happens, and the mailserver accepts the message properly, there isn't anything you can do on your machine to help resolve the issue. If there are errors with the message leaving the server we may be able to provide further assistance.

    There's several different messages there, but none of them look like a normal email being sent out from a cPanel account. It might be easier to run the following command on the server while you send a test message so you can watch the mail logs in real-time: tail -f /var/log/exim_mainlog
    Just let that run while you send a message from webmail and you'll see the entire mail transaction show up in the log.
