exists some ROWS to set password in SW cPanel? (SSH = ok, WHM = fail)
hello,
I set my password ROOT as:
(R is my dad, (Robert) xD) yes, I confirm: my password ROOT is: "coolR:6/sbin/shutdown now" (with space and command restart) Connection from SSH, FTP, WinSSCP as root = OK. My problem is: WHM always = FAIL Who is the problem?, some "special rows" for password over cPanel / WHM ?? Thanks

Hey hey! While I don't think it's a good idea to try and use that as a password, I was able to set that up on a cPanel test server and it worked properly. I changed the password on the command line, and then was able to log in to WHM with no issues. 0 -

thanks by your test master cPRex, why: is bad password?0 -
It's actually technically a good password as far as security is concerned. I would just be wary of copy-pasting that anywhere and accidentally rebooting a machine. 0 -
...was able to log in to WHM with no issues.
how I can check why YES WinSCP, YES SSH, but NO WHM "?0 -
I would run this command, and then try to log in, and see if that shows any error: tail -f /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log0 -
after of run command I try again and WHM refuse my password 0 -
Unfortunately none of that would be relevant to the login issue. You can always submit a ticket to our team so we can check, but WHM uses the same root password as the operating system, so if it is working for SSH there is not anything that would block it from working in WHM. 0 -
master cPRex what you think if we use characters NOT common as: ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
