VPS going on read-only file system again and again
Hello i have purchased an offshore vps from spectraIP
It was working fine till now but from 2 days I'm facing rare issues.
Two days ago client reported that their VPS isn't working correctly, MySQL server is down so i checked i didnt found any solution so i ran /scripts/upcp --force
It gives an error that file system is read-only
I have rebooted the server, after reboot it got fixed.
Again today in the morning the same issue occurs, i rebooted and it got fixed but now it occurs the same issue again.
Spectraip isn't responding.
Anyone here who can help?

Unfortunately this is something only your hosting provider could help, probably the disks are dying. If they are not responding I suggest you to move to another provider which offers better service. 0 -
The details that @andrew.n provided are correct - there isn't anything within cPanel that would cause an area to go read-only, nor is there a tool on our side that could help prevent this behavior. You'd need to work with the hosting provider or datacenter to see if they can perform some health checks on the disks, or just replace the disks to see if that resolves the behavior. 0
