Hey there! Ubuntu is still in beta at this time, and is not recommended for production systems. CentOS 7 would still be supported until 2024, so that is likely what I would choose. You could also convert that to CloudLinux for an even longer supported time if you wanted to in the future.

I personally wouldn't bother with CentOS 8 since the support is over at the end of this year.

Hello I am building A new Production Server Now Does anyone have installation instructions for AlmaLinux on Hetzner servers? I want to install it for cPanel As I read Centos Will no longer Supported by cPanel after some time Centos 8 End of life is December 2021 ( as I read ) and can anyone suggest to me any suggestion? for this case (what is the best System Now for cPanel ) I need a system that keeps working for a long as we can Does anybody try to use Ubuntu on cPanel in production environments Are there any problems? what is the best OS Now for cPanel in your Opinion? Thanks in Advance

Simple Way........... Install Centos7.9-minimal on The Server. Install cPanel.... Then Upgrade it to CloudLinux OS+ KernelCare. CloudLinuxOS+KernelCare offers best Kernel and Management of the Server. Also, It Limits users of executing certain vulnerablities and Providing a Different Environment using CageFS.
