How to Block CPanel Login Subdomain
Hi
How to block cpanel.domain.com from access by anyone, and also all other subdomains mail.domain.com, webdisk.domain.com?
There's a problem, on CPanel, IP Blocker, CPHulk options missing.
.htaccess in folder "above" public_html doesn't work or rule is misspelled.
public_html folder doesn't contain any subdomains, and /home/user too, because search did not find a subdomain or system file.

Hey there! The Service Subdomains are configured directly in the Apache configuration, so you'd need to remove those entries using the Service Subdomain toggle in WHM >> Tweak Settings. Can you try that and see if that gets the results you expect? 0 -
Hi, Sorry forgot to say that I'm using shared hosting. I guess WHM is too high level I can't access? The server is run by a company. 0 -
Ah, that is correct. You would need full root access to the server to make those types of changes. With only cPanel access to the machine you would not be able to change that behavior. 0 -
Okay, only Two-Factor auth I enabled seemed to work to protect Cpanel, as I didn't see any other way to do it (to protect it), except maybe upgrading the hosting plan that seem to add some features that I can't recall at this moment. Thanks 0
