Problem with 96 > 98 update

I upgraded from 96 to 98.03 and now my root account cannot login anymore.

Hey there! I would not expect an update to affect the server access details on the machine. Can you check the logs in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log or /usr/local/cpanel/logs/access_log to see if that reports anything odd when you try to access WHM?

After manually rebooting the server on the rack it seemed to fix the issue - not sure what happened but all account access was showing wrong password - it fixed itself after the restart.
