Hey there! It looks like the mail subdomain may not be included in the SSL for the account. Can you try just using the domain name for the SMTP server to see if that gets things working properly?

The following error message received in SSL/TLS Status DNS DCV: The DNS query to "_cpanel-dcv-test-record.domain.com" for the DCV challenge returned no "TXT" record that matches the value "_cpanel-dcv-test-record=xFosVXnnZfZzwBtnANpHmKnUgrlXShRSrdu2_XUB4d83PeYhmSz6uhdJVVOQrndC".; HTTP DCV: "sub.domain.com" does not resolve to any IP addresses on the internet.

I agree with the output from the AutoSSL tool - I am not seeing any DNS for that subdomain when I check things on my end. If you're having DNS issues I like using intoDNS: checks DNS and mail servers health to get a graphical explanation for why things are happening.
