Dual or Single CPU's

Hello, We are looking at some older servers that have become available and was wondering; Would it be better to go dual CPU or stick with a Single CPU? Thanks,

  Hey there! cPanel itself doesn't care as long as you're able to install a supported operating system on that machine.

  Probably not, if the math works out to be the same specs between the two options.

  Prefer 4 to 6 Cores only because most Servers have a 1Gbps Port Connection only. Having 12c would just be a Waste because 1Gbps connection is only optimal for performance of around less than 1000 users...

  More cores are definitely gonna help if you are running CPU intensive tasks.
