Activating to paid WHM license 3 months after trial has ended

Hi So i have another server where i've installed WHM a couple of months back and let it sit idle but I plan to get a fully paid license for this install next week. My question is when upgrading to paid license do I have to also pay for the months during the expired phase? For example My trial ended on Jan 1st and I activate on APril 1st, do I have to also pay for those 3 months in between ? Thanks!

  Of course not. Once you bought the paid license and it is active on your server IP (can be verified at cPanel & WHM License Verification | cPanel, L.L.C.) just issue this command to fetch the license and you should be good to go: /usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt
