Host is running EoL OS & cPanel, should I dump them?
Wondering if them telling me 'its secure' is true or should I dump them;
Personally, a few versions behind, sure.... I get it, day 1 issues happen..... but running things that are EoL :\ that just screams 'OH NO' to me.
Thoughts?
Thanks,

Yes, from the security point of view you should get a new server with CloudLinux 8 and the latest cPanel/WHM version installed then migrate your websites from the old server to the new server. 0 -
Appreciated the answer & thought as much; the second I seen this I went 'OH HELL NO' Host went 'were secure' and I went NOPE NOPE NOPE; Hoping to get an official answer from cPanel as this will aid me :) 0 -
Well here's your official answer - we never recommend running EOL anything, so if that host is refusing to update/upgrade, I would think it's time to move on as saying that is secure is just not truthful. 0 -
CloudLinux offers extended support for CloudLinux V6 Extended Lifecycle Support for CloudLinux OS 6 It will cost you a bit more, but you can stay on 6 for 3 more years. 0
