Old Email
Hi all, I'm new here and already with problem.
I was transfering a domain from old host to my server by changing NS and it looks like there's a leftover, an old email somewhere on some device causing me this:
Any clue on what to do about it because I don't have access to the device and that email doesn't exist on new server? Thanks all
Aug 30 12:33:00 server dovecot: pop3-login: Disconnected (auth failed, 1 attempts in 2 secs): user=, method=PLAIN, rip=ip, lip=ip, session=
Any clue on what to do about it because I don't have access to the device and that email doesn't exist on new server? Thanks all

Hey there! I'm not sure there is really anything you could do in this instance besides block the IP address in the firewall that is making the connection attempt. That would keep the device from being able to make any connection to the server, so it would not be able to authenticate to anything, and would stop those messages appearing in the logs. 0 -
