Distributed email to linked server safe to delete?
Hi!
We're transferring some accounts from one old server to a new pair, with web and mail in linked nodes. One of the accounts has incurred in quota errors during mail distribution to linked node, so after restarting the process mail is doubled, in original an linked node server. Everything is working properly and mail is correctly managed in linked node, but there is a copy of mail in web node, wasting space.
Which folders could be deleted in web node without problems?
Thanks in advance.

Hey there! If the mail is properly distributed, you would be able to delete everything under /home/username/mail/domain.com as that is where the physical emails are stored. I would *strongly* recommend changing permissions to 000 on that directory first, or moving that directory to a different location while you perform your testing, and only deleting it once you're sure things are working well. 0 -
Great advice, changing permissions to 000. If everything is OK next week I'll delete it. Thank you very much! 0 -
