Hey there! The details provided in that old thread that you quoted user would not affect the RAM usage on the system, but it would tell CSF/LFD to ignore that process and not to send you the excessive resource usage notifications about them. Do you know if the server receives a large amount of email traffic? If so, it could be that spamd just needs to use more resources. 0 -

i have the mail id but not receive any important mails spam mail received weekly 10 to 20 but here using more resources....0 -
To me, that doesn't seem like a large amount of ram 6-7% for one process seems like a normal number for the brief period of time that will be running. If you're seeing multiple processes running constantly, it would be best to submit a support ticket to our team so we can take a look at the system. 0 -
how to disable spamd if i disabled thru tweak settings mean it will restart automatically after some time.... 0 -
If you'd like to disable it, you'd want to uncheck both boxes in WHM >> Service Manager next to the Apache SpamAssassin option, and then save the settings on that page. That will disable the service and keep it from being monitored so it will not restart. 0 -
will it be safe to proceed this process? 0 -
Sure - there is no reason you can't disable the service. You may get more spam if that was actively flagging messages, but it won't hurt the machine to have that not running. 0 -
as u like said it resourcing multi process continously around 20% of ram always.... Pid Owner Priority CPU % Memory % ? I think it would be best if you opened a ticket with our support team so we could examine the system directly. 0 -
yes i have submitted the ticket here is my ticket id #94360921 0 -
Thanks for that - I'm following along with the ticket on my end and I'll be sure to keep this thread updated. 0 -
Since your server has less than 2G of RAM, it looks like this is just normal behavior for the system from what our technician found. 0 -
as per the cpanel technician i have increased the swap memory to 4gb let me wait and monitor then update here further... 0
