Hey there! From the first screenshot it looks like there is an issue with your server connecting to our mirrors. Can you run this command on your system and see if you are able to get a list IPs for the httpupdate.cpanel.net server? host httpupdate.cpanel.net
If that command doesn't give you any output, I would recommend trying to use the Google public resolvers in /etc/resolv.conf to see if that fixes the issue. You can do that by commenting out the current entries and replacing them with these two:nameserver 8.8.8.8 nameserver 8.8.4.40 -
I did what you said Look at the picture 0 -
Thanks for the update. It's odd that you don't have access to the host command on the CentOS 8 system, as I do see that on my end. You could try a more basic "ping" or "dig" to see if that allows you to lookup the name. It's also worth mentioning that CentOS 8 is going to be deprecated in December of this year, so it might be better to start with AlmaLinux if you're not planning to convert to CloudLinux. 0 -
So it looks like I spoke too soon - I actually tested a CloudLinux machine and that did have the 'host' command, but a plain CentOS 8 or AlmaLinux system did not. You can try the "ping" or "dig" option to see if you are able to perform a DNS lookup against the domain name. 0
