You could start with command: du --max-depth=1 -h /0 -
Hi, Thank you for your reply .. I tried the command, this is the result : 132K /tmp 37M /root du: cannot access "/proc/7775/task/7775/fd/4": No such file or directory du: cannot access "/proc/7775/task/7775/fdinfo/4": No such file or directory du: cannot access "/proc/7775/fd/3": No such file or directory du: cannot access "/proc/7775/fdinfo/3": No such file or directory 0 /proc 19G /Malafat 16K /lost+found 0 /sys 4.0K /media 4.0K /srv 343M /boot 273G /backup 4.0K /mnt 70G /home 5.8G /usr 6.5G /var 0 /dev 159M /opt 1.1M /run 62M /etc 374G /
As i understand, it is from the back up .. But how i know where is the files exactly that took all this space .. as i am not seeing any thing new at the backup folder ..0 -
Go to the /backup folder and look what there is: cd /backup ls -la
or you can do:du --max-depth=1 -h /backup
Probably you must check your backup settings in WHM -> Backup -> Backup Configuration0 -
As long as i remember .. there is 1 monthly backup, and daily backup but the daily back should be deleted after 30 days or something .. am i right ? Right now, i deleted few backups manually .. 0 -
The daily backup is not deleted after a certain number of days, but it is based on the retention settings in WHM >> Backup Configuration. You can find more details on that here: Backup Configuration | cPanel & WHM Documentation 0 -
