Hey there! Are you looking to change the server's hostname or are you just adding a secondary nameserver? If you're adding a nameserver at the registrar level, since it is a new one, there wouldn't be any propagation time since it hasn't existed before and doesn't need an update. If you are changing a hostname on a machine, the usual rules for DNS propagation would apply unless you've taken steps to mitigate that ahead of time, such as lowering the TTL. If you can get me more specifics on the work you're doing I can provide you with better details.

We will just replace .COM into .NET. It is just another extension (domain name from XXX.COM into XXX.NET). IP, hosting server is the same. We will modify just the same hostname inside WHM.

Good day, toplisek! In that case, it would be like cPRex said: [QUOTE] If you are changing a hostname on a machine, the usual rules for DNS propagation would apply unless you've taken steps to mitigate that ahead of time, such as lowering the TTL.

So, we Edit DNS Zone Manager, go though each account and change 14440 to 100? Source. DNS Zone Manager | cPanel & WHM Documentation

100 is a bit low. I've always used 300 (five minutes) when prepping a site for a migration.
