When I click " You must reboot the server to enable quotas, apply kernel updates, and apply software updates." Then this error appears "A fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive. (XID jd6wj3) The system failed to send an HTTP "GET" request to " because of an error: SSL connection failed for patches.kernelcare.com: SSL connect attempt failed error:14090086:SSL routines:ssl3_get_server_certificate:certificate verify failed at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/KernelCare/Availability.pm line 66. Cpanel::KernelCare::Availability::kernel_is_supported() called at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/KernelCare.pm line 35 Cpanel::KernelCare::system_supports_kernelcare() called at whostmgr/bin/whostmgr.pl line 5424 main::graceful_reboot_landing("graceful_reboot_landing") called at /usr/local/cpanel/Whostmgr/Dispatch.pm line 366 Whostmgr::Dispatch::_do_call("graceful_reboot_landing", HASH(0x3f43d50), HASH(0x3f32d38)) called at /usr/local/cpanel/Whostmgr/Dispatch.pm line 178 Whostmgr::Dispatch::dispatch("graceful_reboot_landing", 1, ARRAY(0x3f43c18), HASH(0x3f32d38)) called at whostmgr/bin/whostmgr.pl line 442 and usually not like this. This is the first time I got an error like this. Since yesterday I was successful and there are no problems whatsoever. I hope there is a solution

    @holikdardelo - I spoke with Anthony and it looks like his message got sent before he was finished typing. Can you try and manually connect from your server to the KernelCare address with this command to see if that works? ping patches.kernelcare.com

    That would be the issue then - something between you and them is blocking that connection. You might want to reach out to your hosting provider, as it's highly unlikely to be anything on your server itself. You could always try disabling any local firewalls you have installed temporarily to see if that works, but my guess is that it is happening upstream of your system. A traceroute test would show where the connection drops if you run this command from your machine: traceroute patches.kernelcare.com
