AutoSSL renewal problem
I'm having problems since yesterday on one of my servers for SSL renewals. Is there something wrong or is it me ?
I've checked
And after this warning:
And after this warning:
12:15:01 PM Polling for "user""s new certificate for "domain" (order item ID "orderid") "
12:15:05 PM The certificate is not available. (processing)-
No, it's the same issue. We're working on it, but to avoid confusion I'm going to create a master AutoSSL thread with more details. 0 -
Could you please drop a link here to the master thread you referred to which we should be following for updates? Is there any update on when this situation will improve? 0 -
I'm posting any major updates to this thread: indicated an error (504, Gateway Timeout):
504 Gateway Tim" I've checked if it's a firewall issue but got same error when i disabled firewall EDIT : After 10 minutes error changed to this; AutoSSL failed to request an SSL certificate for "xxx.com" because of an error: (XID wt93ug) The cPanel Store returned an error (X::Order::NotFound) in response to the request "POST ssl/certificate/free": Generic exception

Oh i'm really sorry that i missed the part you mentioned me :) 0 -
@Reado you misunderstand that page. The issue is not fixed yet. Once its fixed you can run AutoSSL manually. 0 -

Oops, it appears I did. The links appear under the "Workaround" section so I assumed they were links to the workaround but didn't read the bit about it being worked on.0 -
Everything should be working well at this point - let me know if you continue to see issues. 0 -

It's not resolved for me! 4:27:53 PM ERROR AutoSSL failed to request an SSL certificate for "houselocal.co.uk" because of an error: (XID 8spmrb) The cPanel Store returned an error (X::Order::NotFound) in response to the request "POST ssl/certificate/free": Generic exception0 -

Still getting the same error: 4:33:38 PM The system will attempt to renew the SSL certificate for (houselocal.co.uk: houselocal.co.uk www.houselocal.co.uk). ERROR AutoSSL failed to request an SSL certificate for "houselocal.co.uk" because of an error: (XID 4vtc6w) The cPanel Store returned an error (X::Order::NotFound) in response to the request "POST ssl/certificate/free": Generic exception Are you working to resolve the issue?0 -
It has not been working for me. Any idea as to what the problem is as to why the ID is not passed to the cpanel store? 0 -
@vincentg - are you getting the 503 or 504 errors at this time? 0 -

No am getting First error shows because of an error: (XID tx6wx2) and second error shows Store returned an error (X::Order::NotFound) Checked the firewall and these IPs all show fine as allow. 178.255.81.12 178.255.81.13 91.199.212.132 199.66.201.1320 -
With all the issues happening right now, I wouldn't expect anything related to AutoSSL to work normally. 0 -

They should at least provide a way to manually get a free SSL outside the control panel0 -
It's my experience that Sectigo is a terrible company when it comes to support. I had issues with a security product they once had - removed it as they gave no help. Waited long enough and switched to Let's Encryypt All is now well If your smart do the same - throw Sectigo in the trash bin Been having problems this year with Sectigo not auto updating SSLs Several times have had to run AutoSSL for different users. 0 -
The problem is still happening: 7:45:40 PM ERROR AutoSSL failed to request an SSL certificate for "x.com.br" because of an error: (XID sgqm2s) The cPanel Store returned an error (X::Order::NotFound) in response to the request "POST ssl/certificate/free": Generic exception The system has completed "x""s AutoSSL check. 0 -
@Arvy - please see the above post with a link to the main thread. 0 -
This is how to change over. Run in Shell /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/install_lets_encrypt_autossl_provider Then refresh the auto SSL page and select Let's Encryypt as the provider. Problem solved. In my opinion Cpanel should rethink having Sectigo as a provider. This is unacceptable service from them. 0 -

If LE didn't have a limit I'd be right there with you! I don't even have that many accounts, but quickly hit their limit.0 -
Are you still working to resolve this issue? It's been days and it's still not resolved. This is unacceptable. Running AutoSSL, I'm now getting "The "Sectigo" provider cannot currently accept incoming requests. The system will try again later." Why are you using such an unreliable provider that doesn't accept requests? Come on cPanel, sort it out!!! UPDATE: I just re-ran AutoSSL and got: AutoSSL failed to request an SSL certificate for DOMAIN because of an error: (XID 5jcpcq) The response to the HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) "POST" request from " indicated an error (504, Gateway Timeout): 504 Gateway Tim"

@Reado - you should switch to Let's Encrypt. 0 -
I also had an issue with Sectigo auto-renew requests hanging in AutoSSL "pending." It was working (for years) up til a few days ago. Installed Let's Encrypt via the terminal, switched AutoSSL to use LE and didn't even need to refresh the queue. The pending domains had new LE-issued SSLs within 15 seconds, not even long enough for the pending queue to show up. Def seems to be a glitch in cPanel's Sectigo integration. Server is up to date with no prior AutoSSL issues. Go to WHM > Terminal > Run command /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/install_lets_encrypt_autossl_provider and then go to AutoSSL and switch provider to Let's Encrypt. 0 -
@Reado - you should switch to Let's Encrypt.
Since it will be out in 108, will installing now (/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/install_lets_encrypt_autossl_provider) have to be removed, or will be it checked for and removed automatically on update to 108, or is it the same as what will be in 108 thus not an issue? Thanks.0 -
Facing the same problem for the last week straight. Keeps failing daily with different results, one of which is for the hostname/services : The system failed to acquire a signed certificate from the cPanel Store because of the following error: (XID 97gukb) The response to the HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) "POST" request from " indicated an error (503, Service Unavailable): The system failed to acquire a signed certificate from the cPanel Store because of the following error: (XID yc9xxb) The cPanel Store returned an error (X::TemporarilyUnavailable) in response to the request "POST ssl/certificate/whm-license/90-day": We were unable to process your request. Please try again later. I have less than two weeks before these expire. This is the second time this has happened. We are running a business here - expiring ssl certs would cause everything to be down. Talk about giving someone anxiety. This needs to be addressed. 0 -

There will be no issue. If Let's Encrypt is installed when cPanel updates to 108 it will not be touched.0 -

FYI, things were working well last night... I had several domains install a new cert (including hostname requests). It's like Sectigo was watching us post and got with the program. lol j/k But try a manual check and see what you get. Of course it could be just as bad again now, but overnight it was zipping along. (Load changes, I'm sure.) My point is, you CAN get them to go through, just have to retry a few times. Switching to LE is a better use of time though. ;)0
