    In the main page of WHM you can see on the upper right corner load averages, if you click it'll lead you to de process manager, there you can filter the current processes usage, or you can scroll to the terminal and use de command top.

    Filtering the processes on the server like @Diego Piquero mentioned is a great way to get more details on the system. I would also point out that examining the server's resource usage in real-time through a command like "top -c" will get you better details on the issue, as it's usually very hard to find details about this type of behavior after the problem is no longer happening. Tools like the CloudLinux operating system will allow you to setup limits for each account on the machine, so if you do have users that are using more than their fair share you can restrict them individually, as that is not possible on a standard Linux installation. If you manage a shared server, it's definitely worth looking into seeing what CloudLinux can do for you, and you can purchase that license directly through us as well.
